2020 年的ICLEI 臺灣會員大會暨永續城市論壇，十分榮幸邀請到埼玉市市長 清水勇人與我們分享埼玉市如何利用AI與物聯網等智慧科技，增強城市韌性與提升人民生活品質的城市案例。
埼玉市簡介：
埼玉為日本第九大城市，位在東京中心北邊約30公里，地處東京近郊，亦有六條子彈列車與其他火車路線經過，是重要、便利的交通樞紐。埼玉不只有許多保有江戶時代風情的景點，也有許多著名的傳統產業與文化，例如：傳統人形偶與呈現植物疏密的空間與平衡之美的盆景。
在2011年的東日本大地震後，埼玉開始推行一系列強化基礎建設韌性的倡議，也運用「新世代運具」、智慧能源、人工智慧與物聯網等科技，讓埼玉持續邁向友善環境的智慧城市。
